Empty nest syndrome

The house is empty now that the boys have left and it is clean and tidy because as a kind of therapy I spent all day yesterday cleaning and tidying up. Life continues as normal but it takes me at least a few days to get used to not having them around.

Today it is cold outside and the fire is blazing and I am picking up a crochet that I started a while ago and left in the middle because I couldn't find the yarn I needed on the island. I am not sure what it is going to be but that doesn't really matter. The crocheting, the sound of crackling fire and a nice cup of tea will make me feel better (I hope)

What do you do when you need to be cheered up?

Στη Σκιάθο έχει τόσο μα τόσο όμορφη θάλασσα. Υπέροχο μέρος! Και μόνο που είδα το τζάκι και διάβασα το κείμενο, ηρέμησα :) να είστε καλά!

When I am working in my studio I am happy. So when I need cheering up I head to the studio! Also a nice cup of tea while catching up with blogs or a day trip to be with nature is works too!
